Wednesday's Weekly Junior Roundup
The U7s travelled to West Leeds with a strong squad of players who enjoyed some welcome winter sunshine 🌞. A competitive game against strong opponents showcased the skills the young crocs are developing. Croc 🐊 of the week went to Ronnie, fuelled by a pre-match wagon wheel he scored a number of eye catching tries in a terrific performance.
The U8s had a tough test against a well drilled West Leeds who were really strong in attack and defence but we never stopped. We got better as the day went on with good support play and some great off loads at times.
Well done to Joe for Croc of the week 🐊
Crocs U9s took part in a competitive 3 way round robin against Laund Hill and Sandal on Sunday. Showcasing some exceptional individual tries and a more structured attacking pattern of play. For the third week in a row we debuted new players!
The U10s travelled to West Leeds and put in their best team performance of the season so far. The young crocs dominated in a physical encounter, scoring freely and not conceding a single point.
Crocs U13s hosted Selby in the next round of the Yorkshire cup. It was clear to see that the crocs were giving a lot of size away and went down by three tries early in the game. Crocs fired back with a couple of lovely scores and played some lovely flowing rugby at times. The game ebbed and flowed but Selby came out deserved winners in the end. Lots of positives.
U18s girls travelled to a well drilled Hull Ionians. Hull with some fast impressive backs won the game but crocs battled back with some good forward play. When the girls kept the ball in hand and moved forward, we played really well. Strong performances from Amber, Ella and Charlotte in the backs. With Scarlett marshalling a stream lined set of forwards.
This Sunday the U7s-U10s are at home vs Clitheroe and the u13 & u14 boys are having a week off. The U18 girls are also at home along with the women

U8s - 11am kick off
U9s - 11.30am kick off
U10s - 11.30am kick off
