Wednesday's Weekly Junior Roundup
Last Sunday we had 3 junior teams in action
The U7s made the trip to Doncaster buoyed by an impromptu trophy ceremony at Wednesday nights training session. Playing with a strong squad we had 4 games against Dronfield and Doncaster in a triangular tournament. Unbowed by some inclement weather a tremendous performance saw lots of tries from the team with some excellent defence. Lots of smiles and lots of sausages eaten afterwards with some great hospitality shown by our hosts Doncaster.
The U10s took on Doncaster at home and, as the sun finally broke through the rain, the two teams served up a fine display of rugby. Both teams were strong in attack and defence but the young crocs passing plays made the difference between the two as they came out on top.
Great display of rugby from the U13s led to a comfortable win against Huddersfield RUFC. We ran in some fantastic tries in and didn’t concede due to a very strong defensive performance.
Onto this Sunday we have the following fixtures, which sees our U9s play their first game. Exciting stuff

U13 Boys - Pontefract (A) - 10.30am kick off
U14 Boys - Pontefract (A) - 10.30am kick off
U16 Girls - Aire/Wharfe (H) - 11am kick off
