Old Crossleyans Sportsman’s Lunch A sincere thank you to everyone who joined us last Friday for what was a fantastic afternoon at the club.
It was a privilege to host Rory Underwood, who shared some truly memorable stories about the intensity of facing the Haka and his fascinating career in the RAF. Pictured here is Rory with our Club President, Howard Cooper.
Our comedian, Lester Crabtree, was also in top form and kept the room in stitches throughout.
We were pleased to be joined by representatives from Heath RUFC, Old Brodleians, and Halifax Vandals. It’s always a pleasure to welcome our neighbors for such an enjoyable occasion.
Finally, our thanks go to Brian Lumb and Hanson Haigh for their hard work in organizing and running the event so smoothly.
