Wednesday's Weekly Junior Round Up

Last Sunday was a busy one down at Broomfield. The tots turned up in force and trained in the indoor so called combat room and was great to see them adapting well to the change of environment.

Match reports from all of the action below

A sunny 🌞 morning greeted the Old Crocs under 7’s on Sunday as we played against our friends from Heath and Old Brods. Teamwork was the word of the day as the kids showcased their ever improving skills. A Christmas party at Airtime awaits on Wednesday evening as the excitement for the festive season continues. Croc of the week to Jess who has consistently been a top performer

Crocs U8s v Old Brods
A good and rather muddy three games of rugby. The players all got stuck in and continued where they left off in the last match working well as a team. Attacks were good as always. Stars in defence were Amana, Lola, Dougie D and Tess with some great tackling 👍 Reya, Hugo and Bhairav did some super weaving runs that led to several tries too 👌
Crocs players of the week:-
Dougie D and Bhairav 👏 👍

The U9s faced their toughest challenge of the season so far in a match against an Bramley Phoenix. The team battled fiercely until the final whistle showing great resilience.

Tough battle this week for the U13s against Bradford Salem, we played them back in February and it was very one sided. They have recruited well and were a completely different team this time around. It was a close game but we just came out on top winning 5 tries to 3.

U14s had a tough encounter in YC against a well organised Cleckheaton side losing 7-12.
Some great performances especially from the new lads Harrison and George with Full back Eli also showing his class.
Lots still to learn and develop for our team. Well done to Cleck.

U16s Girls
Yarnbury/Harrogate and Roundhegians 15 v Old Crossleyans 32

The first half was a close contest but our U16s got on top in the second half to win the game.
Try scorers were Ella G, Jemima x 2, Olivia S, Kara and Gabby. Conversion Claudia x1

This Sunday the U7-U10s are away at Littleborough. Any U11s are joining in a game at Doncaster and we have the following home games

U13s - Huddersfield - 10.30am kick off
U14s - Huddersfield- 11.30am kick off
U16 girls are looking for a game as their opponents have pulled out
