🌟 Wednesday's Weekly Junior Round Up 🌟
πŸ‘€ Looks like we are competing again with a very similar junior round up doing the rounds πŸ€” Great to see our example being followed.
πŸ“ Last weekend we had a full fixture list for our juniors, with only the U18 girls not in action. All the minis and junior boys were in action against our local friends up at Woodhead.
Match summaries below:
πŸ‰ Some fantastic rugby played by the U7s against Brods on Sunday morning. Both teams put out two sides each, which meant that all the kids played most of the matches. Some fantastic running and support play by Crocs, which saw some brilliant tries and everyone had a great time!
Player of the week went to George Gibbons for fantastic running and a great attitude. Well done George
πŸ‰ Match Report: U8s Crocs vs Old Brods
Both of our teams put in outstanding performances against Old Brods this weekend. The defensive effort from everyone was incredible β€” the line was solid, and every player was eager to make their tackles. At one stage, Old Brods went through around 25 phases before finally losing possession, a real credit to our players’ determination and organisation.
The players are really starting to understand the game, work together, and make their own decisions on the field β€” a great sign of how far they’ve come.
Well done to all the players β€” brilliant teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship all round.
πŸ‰ Crocs U9s v Brods U9s.
Some excellent rugby on display. Our defence was tested, but we tackled well to break down lots of attacks. The teamwork was super with all players supporting each other, passing the ball well with quick offloads which led to several well worked tries. Players of the match = Amana and Ruben. Well done all πŸ‘
πŸ‰ Old Crocs U10’s travelled to the Brods on a perfect morning for rugby, showing great teamwork and spirit in two fast-paced games.
Both matches were evenly contested with some fantastic running, tackling, and try-scoring from all over the pitch.
Despite a few tough decisions, the Crocs kept their heads up and battled to the end in true Crocs fashion.
A proud effort from all β€” onwards to next week. Come on the Crocs!
πŸ‰ The U11s had another strong outing against a second local rival in as many weeks. Plenty of things to work on in training but well done to all the efforts.
πŸ‰ The U14 boys hosted a smaller Brods squad, so both clubs mixed it up so that all players got a good run out, showing exactly what our game and values are about.
πŸ‰ The U15s boys had a tough fought game up at Woodhead, with a strong second half performance resulting in a 5-7 away win.
πŸ‰ Old Crossleyans U16 Girls 36 v Pontefract U16 Girls 20
The game was a bruising physical encounter between two good sides. Crocs lead at halftime 22 – 0 with tries from Bella, Keira, Poppy P and Poppy S and 1 conversion from Claudia. Pontefract came back in the second half with 4 unconverted tries before Crocs sealed the win with tries from Izzy P and Maryam which were converted by Jodie and Jess respectively.
πŸ“† Attentions to this Sunday, where the U7s-U11s make the short trip over the Pennines to Rochdale, the U14s host Sandal and the U15s host Rochdale whilst the U16 girls are away to Bramley Pheonix in the cup
πŸ“© Plently of playing opportunities for all ages, drop us a message to find out more about the Crocs junior movement.
The future is bright at Broomfield
