'It's been an honour to captain the lads this year. Its been a tough year, but one of rebuilding and consolidating. The aim to was to maintain our league status which we have done. We have shown glimpses of what we are capable of and hopefully we can kick on next season. We managed to avoid relegation with a convincing victory on my last game, so I'm bowing out on a positive, can't really ask for more. My attentions now turn to the juniors section where we will have tots up to u15s boys next season, and a successful girls section also. The future is bright down at Broomfield.
